Nelson Ooi

Nelson is an expert in the fields of accounting and outsourcing, boasting more than ten years of experience. He acquired expertise in various industries before transitioning to the accounting sector, including retail, food and beverage, investment holding companies, manufacturing, trade, and more. His proficiency extends to a diverse range of accounting and financial services, including bookkeeping, financial statement compilation, GST, tax, payroll management, and bank loan computations, among others.

Nelson also possesses extensive experience in assisting businesses in resolving challenges, such as year-end closing adjustments, data transfer, backlog accounting, and more. He has been instrumental in supporting numerous SMEs and start-ups in the digital transformation of their business accounting processes. For instance, he successfully transitioned the traditional approval process for payment vouchers to a more efficient system utilising optical character recognition (OCR). He also facilitated the shift from handwritten sales invoices to E-invoicing via the PEPPOL Network.

He is a professional in configuring Cloud Accounting Systems and seamlessly integrating them with add-on programs, including POS Systems, CRM Systems, and Payment Gateways. Nelson began using Xero in 2017 and has since earned prestigious titles, including Xero Certified Advisor, Xero Migration Expert, and Expert in Advising Clients for Xero Integrated Apps across various sectors, including Retail and E-Commerce Businesses, Professional Services Firms, and Trade and Construction Businesses.

Lawrence Liew

Corporate Secretarial

Lawrence possesses extensive knowledge of corporate secretarial practices, servicing Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), family-owned businesses, and subsidiary companies of listed companies.

He specialises in company incorporation services for countries including Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Australia, and offshore jurisdictions (such as the BVI, Seychelles, Marshall Islands, and Cayman Islands). Additionally, he provides advisory services on board fiduciary duties and shareholder obligations.

His expertise extends to facilitating various aspects of business operations, including opening corporate bank accounts, immigration, and relocation to Singapore. With a diverse clientele spanning industries, such as IT consulting, logistics, shipping, fund management, pharmaceuticals, and more, Lawrence is experienced in working with clients on a global scale. He has assisted numerous multinational corporations and family-run business owners in establishing local operations in Singapore.

Lawrence has the capability to manage a wide range of client engagements, encompassing legal aspects, banking, personal taxation, public policy, and employment-based immigration. He ensures that clients receive regular updates on high-quality deliverables throughout the process of establishing a business. Since 2015, Lawrence has been using Xero accounting software and is a certified Xero Advisor.

Summer Chong

Summer Chong is an accomplished tax specialist with over 10 years of experience in tax compliance and advisory services. She possesses a strong understanding of the Singapore Income Tax Act and stays up-to-date with the latest regulations and rulings set forth by IRAS. Summer has effectively managed a wide range of tax matters, including withholding tax compliance, Certificate of Residence applications, and individual tax compliance for both local and expatriate clients.

With a diverse portfolio of corporate tax compliance clients, Summer has catered to the needs of various industries, such as retail, management services, jewellery, food and beverages, manufacturing, investment holding, shipping, clinics, and virtual schools. She possesses comprehensive knowledge about the unique challenges faced by SMEs and start-ups when it comes to corporate tax compliance. Summer's expertise and experience in addressing tax queries from IRAS, be it for Corporate Income Tax or Goods and Services Tax, make her a trusted advisor in the field.

Axton Yong

Corporate Advisory

Before joining the Corporate Advisory team, Axton had more than 4 years of audit and accounting experience with Singapore Corporate Services.

He has worked with audit and assurance teams in the educational, investment holding, retail, shipping, and logistics industries. Food and beverage, e-commerce, manufacturing, and retail are some of the areas he has worked in. Axton has extensive experience in assisting startups and SMEs in digitalising their business operations by utilising government financing and support.

Axton has expertise in various corporate advisory services, including creating financial predictions and models for funding purposes, analysing and assessing the business financial performance, and redesigning and reengineering accounting procedures. He began using Xero in 2017 and is a Xero Certified Advisor, Xero Migration Expert, and an expert in assisting clients with Xero-integrated apps for trade and construction companies, professional services firms, and retail and e-commerce businesses.

Kim Chong

Admin, HR and Finance

Lee Khim holds more than 20 years of audit and finance experience, having worked in both Singapore and Malaysia with International Audit Firms and Singapore public listed companies. Prior to joining the company, Lee Khim accumulated over a decade of experience as the Group Finance Manager at a company listed on the Main Board of the Singapore Stock Exchange. Her primary role involves overseeing the accounting and financial reporting for the Listed Group.

Her extensive expertise encompasses the preparation of Group Annual Reports, including consolidated financial statements, as well as the preparation of SGX reporting for quarterly and yearly announcements. Lee Khim is also responsible for preparing annual corporate tax computations for filing. Additionally, she diligently monitors the effective implementation and compliance with all finance-related policies and procedures across the group of companies.

Previously, as an audit manager at an International Audit Firm, she assessed internal accounting controls, identified and resolved critical audit issues, and ensured compliance with international and local reporting standards in clients' financial statements.

Lee Khim holds a directorship within the company and oversees various aspects, including accounting, financial reporting, human resources, operations, and credit management for the OA Group of companies.
